On the 6th of March 2024, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the CSIDlab of the University of Heidelberg (Climate Sensitive Infectious Diseases lab) and Ecodevelopment. The main objective of this memorandum is to cooperate in terms of exchange of know-how and data for the development and collaborative publication of results in scientific journals, with the ultimate goal of advancing research and understanding in the field of public health and ecology of mosquito-borne diseases.
As part of this collaboration, three executives of Ecodevelopment, namely the company’s CEO Spiros Mourelatos, Director of Research and Development Sandra Gewehr and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Alexis Brezas, travelled to Heidelberg for the planned 1st live work meeting on 13/05/2024 with CSIDlab Lab Director Prof. Joacim Rocklöv (Alexander von Humboldt Professorship for Artificial Intelligence 2022) and his colleagues.
