8 fertilizer distributors and 4 harvesters with precision farming terms in the rice fields of Thessaloniki by Ecodevelopment
Continuing the expansion and deepening of its precision farming services, this year Ecodevelopment welcomes four more rice farmers to the application of fertilization maps with electronic fertilizer distributors (VRT).
This year, eight rice farmers in the Axios Field plain trusted the services of Ecodevelopment [PreFer], with full implementation of Ecodevelopment’s consulting, exclusively in an automated mechanical way on 4125 acres.
During the last five years, the rice farmers trusting Ecodevelopment have achieved higher yields every year (+8.2% on average) compared to the other producers in the Axios Plain. These data are derived from four harvesters harvesting annually about 10,000 hectares of rice in the Axios Plain.
The scientific team of OIKONAPTYXIS takes care to improve every year the need prediction models it has developed for advising basic and surface fertilization on all crops.
Our constant concern in working with producers is for our team to communicate directly with the producer, responding quickly to their schedule and adapting to their potential constraints.
