On 5 March 2025, Ecodevelopment participated in a workshop entitled “Precision Agriculture and Livestock: Policies – Perspectives – Practices”, held at the “Alexandros” Auditorium of the Alexandria University Campus.
The event was organized by the International Hellenic University, and in particular by the Departments of Agriculture and Production Engineering and Management, addressed students, agricultural professionals and the general public, and focused on precision technologies as a key element for sustainable and efficient primary production.

Spyros Mourelatos, President of Ecodevelopment, presented the company’s actions on precision agriculture, mainly in rice cultivation in the plain of Thessaloniki. He focused on the now stable provision of nitrogen fertilization advice in recent years on 5000 acres on behalf of 10 rice farmers and highlighted the importance of this unique project in Greece.
