Marking 30 years of Ecodevelopment, the annual meeting was held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at the Makedonia Palace in Thessaloniki. Thirty-two company executives actively participated in the meeting.

The event was honored by the presence of nine distinguished guests from the public and private sectors, with whom we have maintained a very close and good professional relationship for many years, namely:
Pr. Anna Papa (Professor Emeritus, Department of Medicine, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki), Mr. Apostolos Yantsis (Advisor to the Regional Governor of Central Macedonia), Pr. Eleni Katragou (Professor, Department of Geology, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki), Pr. Apostolos Tsagaris (Professor, Chair of the Department of Production Engineering and Management, International University of Greece), Mr. Thanasis Tsiganas (Journalist, APEMPE), Mr. Kostas Nasias (Managing Director, EXEO), Mr. Dimitris Zachos (Lawyer, Managing Director, Rhetor Law Firm) and Mr. Theologos Prokopiou (Managing Director, i4g), contributing their experience and knowledge to the fruitful dialogue that developed.
The workshop began with an opening speech by Spiros Mourelatos, who presented a review of the past year, highlighting both the successes and challenges that shaped the company’s progress. This was followed by presentations from the various departments of Eco-Development:
- Mosquito Control – Stella Kalaitzopoulou
- Research and Development – Sandra Gewehr
- Data Analysis – Giannis Pegiadis, Vasilis Pontikeris, Vasilis Bletos
- Finance Department – Koralia Tsavou
The presentations highlighted the company’s expertise, continuous service development, and strategic direction, and were followed by a substantive discussion among executives, with an exchange of views, ideas, and proposals.
These organized corporate meetings, which were established in 2016, are a key pillar of Ecodevelopment’s corporate culture, as they serve the following long-term objectives:
- Providing information about the company and developments in its immediate environment
- Exchange technical knowledge and experiences among executives
- Cultivate team spirit and cooperation
- Consolidate collective corporate identity
- Brainstorm ideas on topics of special interest
This event was followed the next day, Friday January 16th, by an informative meeting on data analysis and the company’s technological tools at the Ecodevelopment offices in Filliro. At the same time, as every year, training for executives in the field of mosquito control will follow at the Ecodevelopment facilities in Chalastra, reinforcing the continuous training of staff.
