Report on emergency spraying actions (ULV) for 2023

Within the framework of the regional mosquito control programmes of the Regions of Central Macedonia and Thessaly, ultra low volume (ULV) spraying applications were carried out. In total for 2023, the following actions were carried out:

The above specialised applications are implemented based on the specifications defined by the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) and the Ministry of Health, which provide for an emergency large-scale, ultra-low volume (ULV) ground spraying action in the event of a human case of West Nile Virus in a low density settlement.
