Ecodevelopment S.A. actively participated in the second annual meeting of the European SEACURE project, which took place on October 15-16, 2025, in Turin, Italy.

The company was represented by the Director of Precision Agriculture, Dr. Christos Karydas, who presented Ecodevelopment’s actions and results in the field of precision agriculture, with an emphasis on the applications implemented in the Axios Plain.

The presentation highlighted the innovative practices implemented by the company to optimize crop management, reduce inputs, and enhance the sustainability of production systems through digital technologies, field sensors, and satellite data.

During the session, Dr. Karydas also announced a new proposal being prepared by Ecodevelopment in the framework of the European CONNECT-03 call, with the aim of creating a cooperation network between businesses, universities, and market players. The proposal focuses on the development of a “digital twin” of the agricultural farm as a tool for monitoring, simulating, and supporting decisions for the agricultural production of the future.

Ecodevelopment’s involvement in the SEACURE project confirms the company’s active role in European research and innovation networks, as well as its commitment to promoting sustainable and “smart” agriculture in Greece and Europe.
